It would be great if you could extend *.graphql file detection for the webpack configuration like described here: http://dev.apollodata.com/react/webpack.html

This would need to get included:

loaders: [
  {
    test: /\.(graphql|gql)$/,
    exclude: /node_modules/,
    loader: 'graphql-tag/loader'
  }
]
